Dr Ragavan (Raj) Manoharan is a neurosurgeon who has sub-specialised in spinal surgery. He graduated from the University of NSW medical program with 1st class honours and has subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Anatomy by Dissection and Master of Surgery through Sydney University.
He undertook his general neurosurgical training in Sydney and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2021. He then completed dual fellowships in complex spine surgery through Royal North Shore Hospital and the University of Toronto Spine Program. He works as a consultant spine surgeon at Royal North Shore Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital.
Dr Manoharan has an interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, motion preservation, spinal deformity (scoliosis) surgery, and complex revision spinal surgery.
